Have you ever caught yourself struggling to manifest one specific thing in your life? Is it a big or “impossible” manifestation? Something unattainable?
If this is you, then you might just find the answer you’re looking for today. In this post, I will share my little hack for manifesting so-called “fixed” things without even trying.
Start with your intention
Before we manifest anything, we want to have a clear idea of what that is. Some people work best when they are very specific with what they want, down to the color, make, and model. But others can be more vague and that works for them. If you want to find your manifesting style, test it out or look into your human design chart. Once you have a clear desire, begin to play around with it.
Being Playful With Our Desires
What does this mean? Begin to speak it into existence as if it was happening or will happen soon. There is no right or wrong way to manifest. The only guidance is how a manifesting technique makes you feel. If speaking in future tense makes it more believable, do that. If not, then speak as if it is already done. I am somewhere in the middle, depending on my mood I can go either way.
By being playful, I mean to make your affirmations light and almost non-serious. Have you ever had a slow computer that kept acting up, so you walked away or acted like you didn’t care to get it to work?
I’ve done this countless times as a little joke, but something about it just works. I also think this is why when we aren’t looking for a relationship, or love, or anything we suddenly get it.
This technique is another way that we practice detachment. If you have been struggling with detachment, then make it a game. I have done this unknowingly for the last year and a half and it works.
My shoe size became smaller
For as long as I can remember I have worn a size 9 ½ in shoes. I have always wanted smaller feet because I felt like it was easier to find shoes in those ranges.
Yet, the world will tell you that your bones cannot shrink or change. WRONG, almost anything is possible through the placebo effect and/or manifestation.
Dr. Joe Dizpenza has an amazing book that I reread yearly called You Are the Placebo. In this book, he tells amazing stories of people who have cured themselves of all kinds of ailments with their minds. I encourage you to read it or try a 30-day free trial on Audible so you can expand your mind to what is possible.
This book cemented the idea that I can change my physical body. I read it a few years ago and since then I have cultivated a belief that it is possible. A while back I put the idea out into the universe that I wanted smaller feet. Little did I know, it would come true and I wouldn’t realize it until later.
One day I went to Nordstrom and all the shoes in my usual size did not fit. I was still in denial and bought a pair that was just a half size smaller than my usual size. I wore them to a flight attendant interview (which I turned down before training) and my foot was slipping out the heel by the end of the event!
I went back and finally accepted that I now wore a size 8. Yes, my foot went from being a nine and a half to a size eight.
It took me a while to accept this and I had to constantly affirm that this was real. Every time I bought a show I would still be surprised and fear that it was some kind of fluke.
However, with every new purchase and try-on haul, I reaffirmed my new reality. Today, I confidently wear a size eight and I am manifesting to go down another size smaller.
My Personality Changed
I have always looked at extroversion as something unattainable. However, after learning about manifestation, I became convinced that if I can manifest a cup of coffee and a new apartment, I should be able to manifest a change in who I am at a fundamental level.
Similar to the shoe size, I began to affirm that I am an extrovert. I used the future tense the most for this manifestation.
It felt inauthentic to call myself an extrovert when I felt so far from it. But as I began seeing evidence of it in my reality, I began to speak in the present tense.
This extroversion happened over time and it began with small changes. Something worth noting is that by cultivating this change, I first had to accept that I already had an element of this inside of me. I began to extract that part of me and merge it with my introverted self.
As I lived my life and went out more, I constantly reaffirmed ways that I was being extroverted. The more I did this, the more this personality shift began to feel like a new state of being.
Today, I have now self-identified as an extra-introvert. This is a spectrum, in which I aim to move closer to the extroverted side with every new interaction I have.
The old fear of human interaction and self-isolation is no longer present. I find myself looking forward to conversations with people. I certainly feel more liberated and capable of participating in social events in a new way.
Affirm and Reaffirm
The key here is to reaffirm when you see the evidence of your manifestation. When my old shoe size didn’t fit, I had to re-affirm that I no longer wore shoes that were in the 9 range. I also had to stop claiming the old identity that wore that shoe size.
The same for my extroverted qualities. The law of assumption is very useful here because embodying this new state is a key to merging identities.
By seeing yourself as someone who already possesses the qualities or traits, it is easier to be a vibrational match to that reality.
If you want a list of affirmations for various topics, I have posted hundreds of affirmations to get you started. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, drop a comment and request some affirmations you’d like to see next.
Summary
Be clear on what you are manifesting and begin to play around with the verbiage you use when talking about it. Affirmations are a great start, and even mentioning it in casual sentences is another way we affirm. So, be very intentional about how you speak of your desire.
Playfulness keeps us detached in a healthy way from our desires. It also takes it off of the pedestal and stops us from making it into such a huge deal.
Next, continue to reaffirm your manifestation when you see the evidence, little or big.
And that’s it! Let me know in the comments if you have ever accidentally manifested something using this fun technique or if you have intentionally used this with good results. Happy and fun manifesting divine souls!
